Si è svolto lo scorso 19 luglio il Convegno pubblico “L’INNOVAZIONE AL CUBO. Energia, mobilità, territori”. L’evento si è tenuto a Roma dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 14.00 presso la Coffee House di Palazzo Colonna in Piazza dei Santi Apostoli, 67.

In occasione del Convegno è stato presentato il Rapporto I-Com sull’Innovazione Energetica 2016.

Il format interattivo dell’evento ha previsto gruppi di discussione settoriali (gli “I-Group”) che si sono costituiti dopo la presentazione dello studio I-Com e che hanno lavorato in parallelo per discutere criticità e proporre possibili soluzioni. Al termine, ciascun I-Group ha presentato i propri risultati e le proprie proposte nella plenaria che ha concluso il convegno con gli interventi finali istituzionali.

In passato è stato a capo della segreteria politica dell’ex ministro Claudio Scajola, attualmente si occupa per FI dell’Ufficio elettorale, è membro del Comitato di Presidenza del partito. Deputato alla seconda legislatura oggi è vicepresidente della Commissione Attività produttive, commercio e turismo Camera dei Deputati.

Nato a Torino, si laurea in Biologia molecolare presso l’Università degli Studi di Torino e successivamente consegue un master in Analisi dei Sistemi Complessi. Per oltre 20 anni è stato responsabile di progetti riguardanti politiche industriale nazionali ed internazionali. Ha coordinato numerosi progetti organizzati da enti locali e dall’Unione Europea. Dal 2005 al 2010 è stato Assessore alla ricerca e alle politiche per l’innovazione. Nel 2010 diventa Direttore comunicazione e relazioni istituzionali della Chemtex Italia del gruppo Mossi & Ghisolfi. Dal marzo 2013 è direttore Innovazione ed Education di Confindustria. È inoltre membro del consiglio della Fonazione Rosselli ed editorialista per “Il Sole 24 Ore”.

Luciano Baratto, degree in industrial chemistry. Since 1982 it has been operating in the natural gas and utilities sector; worked with the most important companies in the industry. Since 2003 he has been responsible for the Regulatory Affairs of Anigas. He is a member of the board of the Italian Gas Committee (CIG) a federally-owned unI body, an Italian representative on the Distribution Committee of the International Gas Union (IGU) and eurogas.

Cristina BARGERO

Born in 1974, graduated in Law at the University of Turin and with a Master's degree in public policy analysis, she is a researcher at the Institute for Economic and Social Research of Piedmont and has been a lecturer at the University of Turin. She dealt with issues related to public policies and in particular those of the economic development of the territory and local finance. She is the author of several publications and I was adjunct professor at Tra le founding, in 2007, of the Democratic Party in the province of Alessandria, she has been a member since February 2013 and a member of the 6th Commission (Finance) and the X Commission (Productive Activities, Trade and Tourism).

Stefano Besseghini has carried out his research activity at the National Research Council becoming head of the Lecco headquarters since 1996. Since 2007 he has contributed to the development of a territorial scientific animation project promoting the development of the Innovation Pole of Valtellina (Politec) of which he was CEO from 2007 to 2011, he is vice president of CTL – Technological Center of Poschiavo Wood (CH) on whose board he sits as a representative of Politec. CTL is an example of cross-border collaboration with the Swiss Confederation for the development of continuing training in support of the wood-furniture sector. In November 2010 he was appointed CEO of RSE – Energy System Research, confirmed in May 2011 for the three-year period 2011-2013. In June 2014 he was appointed, for the three-year period 2014-2016, Chairman and confirmed CEO of RSE – Energy System Research.

Class of 1960, degree cum laude in electrical engineering at the University of Pavia. Since 1998 he has been at the Electricity and Gas Authority where in 2007 he took up the post of Central Director in charge of the Markets Directorate (Electric Energy and Natural Gas). Since 2009 he has headed the newly born Department of Energy of the Ministry of Economic Development and Chairman of the Emergency Committee of the natural gas sector. Since December 2009, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Cooperation of National Energy Regulators (ACER). Since February 2011, he has been President of the Electricity and Gas Authority.

Since 1980 he has been at the company S.R.S – Research and Development Services S.r.l. of Rome and later at the company F.B.M.-HUDSON ITALIANA S.p.A. of Milan, as responsible for the R&D of advanced thermal exchange components. Since 1983 he has been at ENEA in Rome, where, among other positions, he is Director of the Coordination Unit of Experimental Areas and later Director of the Final Uses of Energy Division. He is currently a lecturer at Bocconi University, where he is research director at IEFE, center of energy and environmental economics and policy and coordinator of the Green Economy Observatory. Graduated in electrical engineering at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", he subsequently specialized with a Master's degree in business engineering and obtained a Ph.D. in Economic-Management Engineering at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". From 1998 to 2001 he worked at Siemens SpA in the commercial headquarters in Rome, later moving to Berlin at the component design department for the electromechanical industry, working in production and later in the design department. As project manager for plants and power stations he worked for about two years at siemens AG headquarters in Berlin and Erlangen (Nuremberg) with the responsibility of testing (CESI Milano) and construction site for medium and high voltage power stations. From 2001 to 2006 he was political adviser to the President of the Chamber of Deputies. Elected Senator on the UDC list in 2006, he was UDC Group Leader in the XIII Commission and UDC Group Leader in the Bicameral Commission of Inquiry into the Waste Cycle and related illegal activities. Born in Calabria, born in '72, studied in Political Science. Since 2008 member of the national direction of Cittadinanzattiva and since 2012 Responsible for consumer policies for Cittadinanzattiva. In 2000, after other experiences in the third sector, cittadinanzattiva began to collaborate with Cittadinanzattiva on the Community 'Euro Facile' programmes to facilitate the introduction of the euro and the correct information for sections of the population in difficulty. The implementation of these programs was an opportunity to get to know and get passionate about civic engagement and consumer reality. Since 2012 he has been an alternate member of the National Council of Consumers and Users. In previous years he participated in working groups set up at the CNCU, on the relationship between associations and regions and on financial services, he contributed to the promotion and growth of consumer policies at Cittadinanzattiva in its territorial articulations. He participated in the drafting (part one cap.4) of "Il Consumatore attivo" by G.Trincia (Baldini Castoldi Dalai Editore, year 2008), and as a consultant to a section of the volume "Administrative simplification and citizens- Satisfaction, expectations and proposals" promoted by Formez (year 2007). Three times national secretary of the Italian Socialist Party, for the Region of Tuscany he held the position of President of the Regional Council (2000–2010) and Councillor for the Budget and Institutional Reforms (2010-2013). Since February 2013 he has been Senator of the Republic of the XVII Legislature, elected in the Coalition 'Italia Bene Comune'. He also advises extensively on permitting, contractual and regulatory issues related to the development of power projects and gas infrastructures, including CCGT and renewables plants, LNG regasification terminals, gas storages, pipelines and merchant lines. From 2002 to 2007 he was an alderman for Productive Activities, Labour and Sport for the Municipality of Rho. In June 2007, he was the coordinator of Walter Veltroni's primary campaign and later head of the PD's political secretariat. In 2008 he was elected to the Chamber in the Lombardy I. Senior energy advisor at DGMEREEN and DGSAIE – ex Energy Department Ministry of Economic Development Mr Giovanni Perrella joined the Italian Ministry of Economic Development in 2005. As Senior expert in the staff of the Directorate General for Energy he leads the team responsible for the production of all national official data on energy statistics, national energy balance and scenarios, energy efficiency indicators. He is also in charge of the oil security and biofuel regulation. In the last years is in charge of the new legislation on Biomethane and on new energy for a sustainable transport. In his previous position in the National Agency for energy and environment and new technology (ENEA) he was Director of the Energy Statistical Office at t for the National System of public statistics office. Mr Perrella holds a university degree – BA in Political Science – Political Administration (with honours) from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy.

Since October 2015 he has been President and CEO of the Unique Buyer, a company wholly owned by the Energy Services Manager. Over the years he has been a member of the boards of several companies both public and private, and more precisely in chronological order, Bank of the South – MedioCredit Central SpA, Savings Bank of Viterbo/Group Bank Intesa, Acea Spa, Credit Agricole Asset Management Real Estate Italy SpA, Polygraphic Institute and Mint of the State SpA, Alenia Aeronautica SpA, Publishing Company L'Unit, up to the current commitment of the Board of Directors. Among the different professional experiences are the partnership with the IBI Bank of Zurich and the appointment of Vice President of HFV Holding Photovoltaic SpA, as well as the position of Secretary General of the Italian European Foundation. His international experience has led him to hold various positions of responsibility in important companies such as Telecom Italia, Pirelli and Olivetti during his professional career.

Born in Turin in 1959, he graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Turin, completed his training at the U.C.L.A. in Los Angeles and at harvard business school in Boston, where he attended, among others, the OPM (Owner and President Management) course. He began his professional career during university, in 1978, at Klippan car seatbelts and in 1980 at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he became, at the age of 24, the youngest Senior Consultant. From 1984 to 1987 he was responsible, for the restructuring, of the publishing house Giulio Einaudi Editore in extraordinary administration, reprivatized after only 3 years. Between 1988 and 1995 he was CEO or director in several companies (Tecknogamma Factoring, Tecknogamma Leasing, Metalmeccanica Plast, Componenti Presse, La Compagnia Immobiliare) gaining experience both in the financial field and in the field of machine tools and construction. In 1995 he founded Asja Ambiente Italia (www.asja.biz), a company of which he is still president and shareholder, which operates internationally, with offices in China and South America, in the production of electricity from renewable sources and in the reduction of greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions, in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol. Asja is also active in the search for new technologies for the environment and since 2008 has been present in the Business Research Center of the Politecnico di Torino. The company has recently entered the field of energy efficiency and microcogeneration. Since May 2011 Re Rebaudengo has been president of assoRinnovabili, the largest Italian association of renewable energy producers, in terms of representativeness and history, as well as an adviser to EWEA (European Wind Energy Association). In 2012 he founded Reba Capital UK Llp, an investment firm authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority that operates in the renewable energy and sustainable crops sector. He has always been attentive to the world of culture: he has been an Advisor to the Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, president of the Teatro Stabile in Turin from 1996 to 2007 and is still engaged in non-profit organizations including the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation for Contemporary Art, of which he is co-founder and vice president. Energia. Graduated in Economics at the University of Bari and Mema graduate (Master in Economics and Environmental Management) at Bocconi University. He is founder and director of the online scientific-popular journal 'Energy policies and the environment', and author of several publications on the subject.

Full Professor of Economics and Business Management at the University of Verona, he held the position of Vice-President of Agsm spa in Verona in the years 2002 to 2005. In the spring of 2006 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies, and joined the Commission for Productive Activities, Trade and Tourism. He was confirmed in the 2008 elections, and assumed the position of national head of energy and public services of the Democratic Party. Chartered Accountant and auditor, he has carried out audit activities at Local Administrations and important private companies; he has also collaborated with business associations and individual companies in the development of programs aimed at the entrepreneurial, competitive and marketing growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, also being part of the panel of experts of the Aspen Institute. In August 2014 he was appointed Commissioner of ENEA by the Minister of Economic Development. He is a member of the Board of Research foundations and support to the world of volunteering. He is the author of publications in national and international journals on management, economics and business management of public services, energy policy.

He is Vice President and Director of the Energy Area of the Institute for Competitiveness, an independent research institute that he helped found in 2005 and which promotes themes and analyses on competitiveness in an innovative way, within the European and international political and economic framework. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of UNCEM – National Union of Municipalities Communities Mountain Bodies. Michele de Nigris graduated in Electrical Engineering from Genoa University and then joined CESI Spa, where he covered positions in the field of electrical components tests, diagnostics and failure analysis. In 2004 he was appointed director of CESI laboratories, one of the major European electrical testing stations. From 2006 he joined CESI Ricerca (subsequently ERSE and RSE SpA) as Director of the T&D Technologies Department, pioneering the activities on smart grids. he is presently Director of the Sustainability and Energy Sources Department of RSE. He is the Chairman of the International Smart Grids Action Network (ISGAN). He is senior consultant for the Latin America Branch of the UN in the field of smart grids.
