On Thursday 11 May I-Com hosted a Privacy Breakfast on Privacy&Advertising which saw the presentation of two papers by Mr Pollicino and was followed by a panel discussion with Anna Colaps (European Data Protection Supervisor), Guido Scorza (Italian Data Protection Authority) and Karina Stan (Developers Alliance).

The discussion contributed to the debate around the nexus between digital privacy and advertising. Namely, the panel delved into the challenges of finding the right balance between the protection of privacy and personal data and market freedoms.
