On Monday 20th November 2023, the Institute had the pleasure to host Luciano Floridi, Professor and Founding Director of the Digital Ethics Center at the University of Yale, for a Policy Conversation titled Ethical Guidelines for Virtual Worlds: Searching for an Effective Governance”.

The conversation built on Prof. Floridi’s paper on the issue at stake and was fuelled by contributions from Anna Colaps, Member of the Cabinet at the European Data Protection Supervisor; and Thibaut Kleiner, Director for policy, strategy and outreach, at DG Connect.

Aim of the event was to contribute to the discussion on future perspectives and opportunities to be explored to strengthen safety and privacy in Immersive Extended Reality.

Here the programme of the event.
