Tuesday, 13 May. The European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) will hold a public hearing entitled “Reinventing European space governance and boosting industry”, where four experts will discuss the challenges facing Europe’s space sector.
12-16 May. Throughout the week, the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs is hosting CyberWeek in Kraków—a gathering of EU cybersecurity and telecom experts focusing on the revision of the “Blueprint” for coordinated large-scale incident response and on cybersecurity investment.

Monday, 12 May. ITRE will examine the draft resolution on the Clean Industrial Deal, with Tom Berendsen (EPP) as rapporteur.
Tuesday, 13 May. The same committee will adopt the report “Electricity grids: the backbone of the EU energy system,” drafted by Anna Stürgkh (Renew).
Tuesday, 13 May. Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) is voting on the proposal to amend Regulation (EU) 2023/956, aiming to simplify and strengthen the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The rapporteur is Antonio Decaro (S&D).
Monday–Tuesday, 12–13 May. EU Energy Ministers (TTE configuration) will meet informally in Warsaw to discuss rebuilding Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and the legislative alignment of Ukraine and Moldova with the EU acquis. On Tuesday afternoon, International Energy Agency Executive Director Fatih Birol will brief ministers on energy security and access to clean technologies.
Wednesday, 14 May. Executive Vice-President Raffaele Fitto and Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis will present the third agricultural “Omnibus” package, centred on the mid-term review of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
