\"\"<\/a>Nowadays, the energy system is strongly linked to the transformations currently underway in the field of ITC technology; therefore, it is necessary to talk about \u201cdigital energy\u201d. The study aims at analysing the future challenges and perspectives that the energy sector is supposed to face, in order to manage the changes related to ITC technology development \u2013 cyber-security, data managing, consumers and e-commerce. In fact, in the short term, at a European and global level, investing in all these transformations will be required to ensure the efficiency of the energy system.<\/p>\n
