Here we are, the GTIPA Annual Summit takes place on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October. The Global Trade & Innovation Policy Alliance (GTIPA) is an international network of 25 think tanks from all over the world – including the Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com) – specialising in innovation and digital policy issues. The organization was created on the initiative of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington think tank founded and led by former US President Barack Obama‘s advisor Robert Atkinson.

A two-day event, this year in virtual mode, which aims to encourage a discussion on two issues in particular: on the one hand, international trade, and on the other hand, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on public health and the world economy. The summit also aims to explore possible solutions to the post-pandemic challenges that will be faced by the entire international community.

Following the opening by the ITIF President, Atkinson, and Vice-President, Stephan Ezell, the speakers will include the Chairman of the Korean Committee on Health and Welfare of the Korean National Assembly, Min-seok Kim, and the Undersecretary for North America of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jesus Seade.
