Mercoledì 11 Aprile, I-Com ha organizzato la conferenza “MAKING EUROPE SAFER – Data, networks and cloud: Drivers of cybersecurity in Europe”. L’evento ha avuto luogo presso il Parlamento Europeo (stanza A5E2), dalle 17:00 alle 19:00, ed è stato ospitato dal MEP Andreas SCHWAB.
Le tematiche connesse alla Cybersecurity sono una priorità per l’UE, al fine di creare fiducia nella digitalizzazione. Lo sviluppo della Cybersecurity è fortemente collegato allo sviluppo infrastrutturale, particolarmente a quello della “quinta generazione” dei sistemi di telecomunicazione ed energia. Quali sono le azioni e i piani da adottare per proteggere i dati sensibili?
Lo studio, curato da I-Com, ha investigato le future prospettive in materia di cybersecurity nel contesto europeo dei data networks e cloud.

Digitalization is revolutionizing our society transforming human existence, business models and the relationship between authorities and citizens.
Focusing on the European context, data shows that in the different Member States EU citizens and companies have a different level of computer skills and, more generally, a different awareness of the advent of the digital age, accessing available digital services with a different intensity and interest.

- Director at the Observatory on Energy Policy of the Einaudi Foundation;

He has authored numerous publications on economic themes, particularly with regard to policy and regulation of the energy market and infrastructural services and the governance of the institutions, and his opinions and analysis has featured in major Italian newspapers including Il Foglio, il Sole24 Ore, Huffington Post Italia and more. Stefano has also undertaken study and consultancy assignments for Italian and international public institutions, including the Senate of the Republic, the Department for EU policies, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the OECD, leading Italian and foreign companies and non-profit organizations.

- She graduated the Theoretical High School in Bereşti in 1973 and followed the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University from Iaşi, Faculty of Textiles, Specialization “Mechanical Technology of Filing and Weaving”, which she graduated in 1978;
- From January 1990 until 2012, she was General Manager of SC Pasmatex S.A. During this period, she was very involved in the development of the textile industry and the creation of jobs in this branch. From 2002 to 2010, she was the president of the Light Industry Employers’ Federation, Vice President of UGIR 1903, and since 2003, member of the National Exporters’ Council;
- She was almost every year nominated in “The Top 50 succesful Women in Romania”, published by Capital magazine;
- She joined politics 15 years after the Revolution of 1989, set up and led several NGOs,
- Since then, she has occupied several public functions, of which the most important are:
– 1998 – 2012: President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Romania;
– 1994-1998 and 2002-2006: Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Timisoara;
– From 2005 to 2015 President of the Humanist Party ( Conservative )
– 2015 – Present: Co-President at the national level of the Party of Humanitarian Power (Social-Liberal) in Romania and the President of the Timis County Branch;
– December 21, 2012 – March, 2014: Deputy Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Business and Tourism in the Victor Ponta’s second Government (2012-2016);
– From May, 2014 – present: Member of the European Parliament;
- 2000- The order of knighthood from Romanian Presidency for the contribution to the economic development of Romania.
- For her outstanding involvement in all her activities she has been rewarded with numerous awards.
