Tuesday 28 February 2023 ore 18:00 - 19:30
The DEEP-IN NETWORK, powered by I-Com, has organized the Webinar titled “Contribution to the Debate on SEPs: SEPs case law in Germany”. The event has been held on Tuesday 28 February, from 18:00 – 19:30 CET.
Focus: After almost eight years from the landmark decision of the European Court of Justice (CJEU) in Huawei v. ZTE, there is still a lively debate on the interpretation of the framework delivered by the CJEU to increase legal certainty and predictability for standard essential patents (SEPs) licensing. Among the national courts intervened filling the gaps left by the CJEU and shedding light on some of the thorniest questions, German tribunals have gained prominence because of the significant number of litigations addressed. Against this background, the webinar aims at exploring the approach developed at national level post-Huawei, with a particular focus on the German judicial experience.
