On Wednesday 21 March I-Com hosted a Power Breakfast on recent Commission’s proposal establishing a framework of measures for strengthening Europe’s net-zero technology products manufacturing ecosystem (Net Zero Industry Act). The event saw the participation of Stefano Soro, Green and Circular Economy (DG Grow).
Specifically, this Power Breakfast focused on the recently announced plans of the EU executive to put forward a Green Deal Industrial Plan expected to foster the Union’s clean tech economy and industrial innovation by facilitating procedures both within permitting and State aid. The discussion also touched upon the Clean Tech Europe initiative -announced last November- aimed at ramping up EU’s production of climate-relevant technologies to contribute to the resilience of EU manufacturing capacities.
