On Wednesday 1 March I-Com hosted a Power Breakfast on the assessment after one year of the European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) with the participation of the Director General Pierre Delsaux.
Building on the first State of Health Preparedness Report put forward by the Commission (November 2022), the Power Breakfast has focused on HERA achievements in the past year and on what actions are still needed to further improve EU’s preparedness in the year ahead – as set up by HERA work plan 2023 which will focus in particular on better preparedness for serious cross-border threats in the area of medical countermeasures.
